Intro Paths
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Intro Paths extension and web app collect, use, store, and share data when you browse supported supported pages or sign in to the product.
Overview
Intro Paths helps users discover warm introduction paths by showing relationship context from their own account and their team's accounts while browsing supported pages.
This privacy policy explains what information Intro Paths processes through the extension and web app, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
Information We Collect
Account information, including your email address, when you sign in using Intro Paths.
Team membership information, such as the teams you belong to and the team member identity associated with your workspace.
Relationship and profile context needed to provide Intro Paths features on supported pages.
Extension state stored in your browser, including your authentication state, selected teams, theme preference, and other saved preferences.
How We Use Information
We use your information to authenticate you, keep the extension synced with the Intro Paths web app, and show relevant connection-path data while you browse supported pages.
We use relationship and workspace information to determine which connection paths belong to your current team context and to support collaboration features such as introduction requests.
Local Storage in the Extension
The extension stores certain information locally in browser extension storage, including your Intro Paths auth state, selected teams, theme preference, and other settings needed for the product to work consistently.
The extension also stores transient UI state needed to keep the sidebar behavior consistent across supported pages.
Server-Side Processing
Intro Paths stores the records required to maintain your authenticated session, team membership state, and product functionality.
We process information on our servers as needed to provide account access, workspace features, and supported product workflows.
How We Share Information
Intro Paths does not sell personal information.
We may disclose information when necessary to operate the service, protect users and the product, or comply with legal obligations.
Information relevant to your workspace may be available within that workspace so authorized users can collaborate on product workflows.
Data Retention and Security
Intro Paths keeps information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain security, and satisfy legitimate operational or legal obligations.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect authentication data, account data, and stored information.
Your Choices and Rights
You can sign out of the extension and web app at any time.
You can request access to or deletion of your data, including account and team information, by contacting Intro Paths.
If you no longer want to use Intro Paths, you can stop using the product and request deletion of stored account data.
